ENGINEERING
Arc Flash Study
An Arc-flash Hazard Analysis is used to determine the flash protection boundary distance and the arc flash incident energy which in turn dictate the type of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) needed for a qualified person while they are working in the vicinity of an exposed energized electrical distribution equipment.
Coordination Study
Power Solutions Inc. can perform a Protective Device Coordination Analysis in order to find and achieve the highest quality of protective devices. We guarantee the safety and protection of your workers by isolating electrical problems and protecting your equipment from short-circuit faults and failures.
Short Circuit Analysis
In order to determine the quality of potentially disruptive electrical devices (ie. circuit breakers), a short-circuit Analysis and Protective Device Adequacy Evaluation can be performed by Powerlink Solutions Inc. This evaluation allows to pinpoint and avoid issues in your power distribution system.
Ground Grid Study
A Ground Grid/ Mat study is used in order to recognize a safe area of commercial and industrial spaces and stations. In order to conduct this study, the ground potential rise, step and touch voltage is calculated based on IEEE Standard 80.
